Hi folks - here on Long Island in NY, where we went straight from winter to
summer [ help!] . . .
I have mallow in bloom, as well as some sedums getting started,
acquilegia are starting to make a comeback
and my roses are all starting to bloom, even the new ones for shade
[amazing!].
My lilies are out in full force and the clara curtis daisys just began.
And my first flower came out yesterday on the St Johns Wort -
beautiful![sorry forgot the latin name!]
My oenathera and achillia are all getting revved up as my violas and
myosotis [sp?] are winding down
Transcantia are doing well, but not the colors I thought they'd be
the iris and daylilies are set to open in the next couple of days
Unfortunately, the big heat wave has sent my spinach and arugula to seed -
sigh
But Ain't life grand! Cherie
