When planting it's always a good idea to plant in groups of odd numbers: 3,
5, 7 plants depending on your area and cash ;-). I put in a new perennial bed
this spring and at a minimum put in groups of 3 plants. Don't space them too
close together or you will have to split them sooner but follow the
recommended spacing. They'll grow together and you will have a large grouping
that looks much prettier than one lonely plant by itself. Have fun!
