Hi Jeanne, I have been keeping a garden journal since 1983 and it is fun to
look back and see what the weather was like, what veggies and flowers I was
growing and how I dealt with garden problems. I also record any big
projects such as building structures (fences, arbor, pergola, greenhouse),
creating new borders, or taking down trees after a storm. I make a least
one entry a month the year around and always record the current temperature
and weather. Of course a major ice storm or big wind or the wettest May in
recorded history gets a special entry. I write about favored plants and
unfavored plants as well. The idea is to just have fun with it :). Marilyn
