deadheads

Well.. I must say that my gentle query about dead heading my flowers
provoked some pretty interesting replies.  I love the suggestion of
the weed wacker but knowing me, I would probably whack my knees, and
perhaps my ankles as well.  After reading some of the suggestions, I
get the feeling that some people really go at the dead heading with a
vengeance. " Look out posies, here I come!" I have a little pair of
snippers that I bought from the White Flower Farm that I think I shall
use.  My few blossoms really don't call for a chain saw yet but I'll
keep it in mind for next year, at which time, no doubt, the
profuseness of my blossoms will be overwhelming.
