Magnar,  Linaria purpurea is vigorous to say the least.  In my garden it
grows equally well in dry shade and moist shade, dry sun and moist sun.  It
seeds around like mad, but I don't really care.  The seedlings are very easy
to hoe out or pull by hand when they are small.  I have both purple and pink
in bloom now and they are really very attractive.  They have a delicate
"airy, fairy" look that I appreciate.  Marilyn
