Re: Linaria purpurea-would you grow this plant?


Hi Magnar,
I've had L. purpurea for years in our poor dry sandy soil. It seeds itself
quite readily, but i've never considered it a problem as the seedlings are
easy to remove. It has a very long bloom season and grows to about 1m.
Doesn't spread except by seed.  Can't compare it to L. vulgaris as i've
never grown it.
