Ginny - " If it starts looking ratty by mid-summer, just cut the foliage back to ground level and you will get a new flush of wonderful foliage. Try it, you won't regret it!" Will this work for all columbines? If the leaf minors ate most of the first round of foliage this year will cutting the plant back, and re-growing work, or should we be more aggressive -(or patient, waiting for winter's freeze, and next year's growth? ) Jenny
