I have grown Cypress vine for years. It volunteers very easily from the
previous year's growth, although it dies at the first frost. I also keep seed
so I can put it where I want it. The ruby-throated hummingbirds come to it in
the early morning and evening. There are pictures of it and its latin name at
a morning glory site I saw on the web just recently. You could probably do a
search and find it easily.
