Re: drying hydrangeas


There are lots of fancy ways to dry hydrangeas.  You can go to a lot of
trouble if you want to, but I don't anymore.  About three years ago I picked
an armfull and quickly stuck them stem down (bouquet style) in a basket on the
fridge because I had company coming.  I meant to attend to them later but
never got around to it.  They dried beautifully on their own so I left them
there where they looked lovely until the next year when I replaced them with
new ones.  Now that's all I do and it works beautifully!  --Janis
