RE: Containers


Thanks for all of the great tips on how to fill my big pot!! I took the general ideas from everyone, and as I didn't have enough aluminum cans, peanuts - or patience to wait until I could get either, I crushed about 8 old plastic gallon milk jugs very well, and used them. I also packed the first layer of soil down pretty well, so that the cartons wouldn't collapse further, causing gardening sink holes! I will keep you posted on how this works! It was very quick and easy - and seemed to leave good drainage while filling the cavernous pit of the pot that was threatening to eat all of my remaining soil!
