I have tons of Tansy growing all around...in containers and in the ground.
It's not fussy about soil. I have clay soil which I ammend with decomposed
manure. Also does O.K. in partial shade, and yes, it is invasive. As for
the sweet william, I suppose you could collect some seed to save, or just
leave them and the plants will self-sow easily. Have fun!
