I'm always looking for that color. I've been calling it "eye-candy blue"
for some time and people always seem to know what I'm talking about.

An annual I'm trying this year for the first time, Felicia "Cub Scout", is
that particular color, with a yellow center. So far it's quite promising.

The best I've had in the way of perennials has been Corydalis 'Blue Panda'.
Cascades of true acid-blue flowers. Astonishing when well grown.

Of course, there's the Hydrangeas, and I prefer the lacecap over the
mophead types. 'Blue Wave' has been quite good so far.

I had Meconopsis betonicifolia last year; damned near a religious
experience when it bloomed. Unfortunately it didn't make it through the
Winter. As soon as I can find seed for M. sheldonii I'm going to try that
one since it's supposed to be hardier (and prettier, if that's possible).

I would also welcome other suggestions for this elusive color.
