Re: Monarda


My Monarda hasn't bloomed yet either, it usually doesn't until July around
'these here parts'...and I am way ahead of my gardening pals at work.  I live
in Central CT and they live more coastal.  I am two-three weeks ahead as far
as bloom time, but some of that I think has to do with the way the sun hits
us.  We are situated on a slight hill and the snow is always first to melt in
our yard as opposed to our neighbors whose yard is flat.

Of course, the fact that my plants are blooming a couple weeks ahead of
schedule means they will probably be zapped by late July!
