Dear Janice:
According to our local gardening talkshow,
Newfoundland gardens are about
3 weeks ahead of schedule. We had an
unusually mild winter and the effects are
noticeable in my garden, too. Many plants that
normally bloom late in the summer are up
and at it. One example, Sedum acre is about
to bloom! I don't normally see these yellow
starburst flowers until July-August or later.
Anyone else?
