Re: Moving plants


Well, Lisa, I know I would have a very hard time leaving any plant behind.  If
I could dig it up, it would be moved.  I would repot everything (hope you
saved those pots from the garden centers you visited) water thoroughly and
maybe wrap container, or lay wet shredded newspapers around the containers.
If you keep all your plants moist, they should survive the trip.  Some may go
into shock, but I would think once they are back in the ground they will
acclimate themselves and by next year they should be okay.  I think the key
however, is keeping the soil and area around it moist.

I am sure there are others out there who have moved and may have better
methods.
