Natureworks is on 518 Forest Road (Rt 22) in Northford, CT. I went today and
found the Patrinia I wanted. It is a very small operation, but for being so
small they seem to cram a lot in. They have Garden walks to show you the
gardens that they have set up and to give people ideas on planting etc.
Nancy DuBrule, who is the owner went to UCONN for her horticulture degree,
has a mailing list as her Internet newsletter. If you would like to receive
her newsletter via e-mail her, her address is: nature@iconn.net
One of the neat things about them, is they offer new cultivars that you won't
find anywhere else-well, not yet anyway. They do have a catalog, however, if
you order anything you are expected to go and pick it up, they do not ship.
They have a Perennial Buying Club, a Grow Organic Program and the Saturday
Morning Garden Walks.
They sell native plants and many more to long a list to name. Is there
something in particular you are looking for??
Janice
