I'm curious about Mullein.  I have something that someone gave me that she
called "Mallow", but said she didn't think that was the correct name.  It is
shaped like a Hollyhock with flowers that are pinkish/purple (a light,
pretty color).  The flowers are less tightly curled than a Hollyhock, more
flat with 3-4 pieces per bloom.  The blooms run up the side of the stalk
like a Hollyhock.  She said that it self-seeds like crazy, and she has them
all over her garden.  I like the plant, but still do not know what it is.
Could it be a Mullein???
