    Marie, In response to your "Mrs. Moon" request for
    real life adventures with her, I've had extraordinary luck
    with bloom and healthy thriving plants in many locations.
    Full shade, dappled shade, limited morning shade etc.
    They have outperformed themselves year after year. 
  
    BUT!!!!!  They lose their spots; so they're not particularly
    fastinating at any other time of the growing season. Had
    just about decided to give all these clumps to my compost
    pile when I decided, 1 more try.  I'm going to try some in
    my "acid" bed. (alongside the Rhodo, azaleas, hydrangeas
    etc. Time will tell.
