They pop up in my lawn all the time. If I can leave them-which is to say
if I can get at the rest of the lawn with the riding lawn mower, I prefer
to leave them. I think even the "wild" mulleins would be more popular
garden plants if the flowers opened at the same time, instead of a few
here, a few there. But my neighbors don't get the opportunity to
complain, since the closest one is the width of a good sized hay field
away.Let us all be brave and cultivate more biennials. Most of them are
worth the wait.
