My camapanula have 'flopped' this year, too. When the floppiness began, I
managed to gather (with the help of another set of hands) most of the
stalks and tuck them into a tomato cage. I placed the narrow part of the
cage at the top. Although, the cage is not really attached to anything, it
seems to stand up. The plant is an odd shape (I kind of like it though)
and the incredible profusion of blooms still shows.
The odd stalk that didn't make it into the cage found its way into the
flower vase.
It seems to me the stalks and stems are a little weak this year, and the
blooms are numerous. Wonder if it has something to do with the weather. I
think they bloomed a bit early here.
