HA! My husband was the same. He digs the holes, I fill them with
trees/plants, etc... Hey, when someone will dig holes for 25 evergreen
arborvitae in one day...
But, since he's seen the transformation in the last two months from
"Blech" to "ooohhhhh", he now accompanies me from time to time on my
daily trek through the yard to tell each plant how well it's doing...
He's still not interested in the actual hands on portion, but he admires
the beauty/fruits of my labor. I too hope for the day I could actually
get him out there, and enthusiastic about gardening~!
At least he doesn't complain when we go to the nurseries... well, he's
ok for the first hour or so. <g>
