Blue-- really blue-- this year, my Penstemon strictus blossomed for the first
time-- Amazing!!! Also, I've got several Scutellarias that are very blue, Several
Salvias, especially S. transylvanica---but nothing beats the tender Salvias for
color-- S. patens, S. cacalefolia, S. uliginosa, etc.
My Echinops and Eryngiums are about to open-- steely blue, silvery blue-- I do
consider these to be blue. And, what beats Aconitum?
