Re: Ginger

I have a small patch of Asarum europaeum in very deep shade with a
couple of maidenhair fern and Jack-in-the-Pulpit. It is in serious
competition with wood violets and Virginia Creeper which I try to pull
out once a year. The ginger was bought as a ground cover, but in this
situation has not spread much; the shiny heart-shaped leaves are nice
in the spring before the other thugs take over.
