We have planted numerous Echinacea purpurea all of which have bloomed
the first season here in zone 5 in Southwestern Michigan. Even when we
have planted them in what we consider marginal areas they have bloomed-
we might also add multiplied significantly. Something is definitely
wrong somewhere in our opinion and you have been more then patient.
