Re: Red...OT ... some trees to go with that...


Thanks to all for the great ideas for red flowers.  I'm drooling (like
neens) with possibilities of what to plant.  I was glad to see a few red
trees/shrubs thrown in (below) which got me to thinking about my *burning
bush*(NOT the Kochia scoparia series - this one is a deciduous shrub with
oval leaves and an upright, somewhat irregular habit . . someone help me
out with the biological name?)  . . that has never so much as smoldered! 
The leaves are s'posed to turn scarlet red all at once and look like it's
*burning* . . hmmmmpf . .. Mine all turn brown and drop in one day. 
Anyone know of a shrub or bush list that might answer my question?
