Re: Red..OT .Burning Bush

Burning Bush (Euonymus americanus?)

I was a victim of Burning Bush envy --the neighbors across the street
have one that really blazes every autumn, so I got one....waited a few
years for it to grow up...it would not burn, just got a little pinkish
in the fall before the leaves dropped...then it developed a virus and
died.

I decided that THEIRS across the street had a nice open southern
exposure and was in a west-facing direction and on a nice well-drained
sloping lawn, while mine faced east (a.m. sun only) and got overly wet
feet with a downspout within 3 feet. Such is life.
