I think your idea is great!  I am just starting to get into growing from seed.
One reason is you can often get more unusual perennials/annuals in seed form
than you can in plant form.  Also, I am interested in heirloom plants.
We have an old garage/barnish type of outbuilding which is not used for cars!
I have a loft up above, which would be good for drying (wonder if any bats
live there??) but haven't even begun to do this (make mental note).  So if I
could get hubby to clear out a space, hmmmm....the gears are turning.  

So all you knowledgeable folks, what other thoughts, ideas, on this subject?
