Another thing you can use for various bugs is Ortho Fire Ant killer (Powder
form). My mother-n-law, who a very advid orchid grower, introduced me to
this product. You simple put 1T per 1 Gal of water and spray. The benefits
to this product over some that contain oil is that (sometimes) the oil is
harmful to your plant....for example ferns resent the oils and some tropicals.
I use a hand full of various treatments depending on what plant I am
treating....including some of Jerry Bakers stuff. One thing to remember is
that if you are using anything that contains oil is to spray in the evening,
after the harshness of the sun has gone.
Just a little tid bit of information
