Val,
I think you're right. Everything in my garden seems
huge this year. My columbines are huge and my poppies
are spectacular. I couldn't believe it when I
discovered buds on my shasta daisies this morning.
Last year they didn't bloom until July..well after
everyone elses's had gone. Last year you and I had a
couple of posts about my red valerian. I was pretty
discouraged but you said to hang in there. Well they
are blooming away and are gorgeous. Huge flowers on
both plants and such a pretty color..sort of a pinky
red.I have no idea whether they will have a repeat
bloom or not. Should I deadhead them when they are
done blooming?
