Do definitely try and collect seeds. I have never bothered since I am happy
enough if the plants reseed themselves (my excuse for being too lazy to
deadhead anything), but it is probably well worth your while.
Your seeds may not exactly replicate their parents (many seedlings don't
when dealing with either F1 hybrids or strains that are not fully fixed) but
on the other hand they may.
