Val, I'm not really sure what the seeds look like, since I just leave the
pods there until they fall off. And yes, they do act like biennials unless
you get one of the varieties that are bred to bloom in the first year, in
which case they act like annuals. They are probably tiny little black dots
if they look like the perennial campanulas I have planted.
