Late Lillies

Hello everybody,

My name is David Ainsworth. I am originally from England where I
inherited my Gardening bug. I moved to New Brunswick Canada Twenty years
ago and have been growing at varying degrees throughout this time
period.
My wife Itala joins me in my love of gardening and we spend many hours
together scratching in the dirt. We recently bought a home together and
have been planting like crazy. We ordered a megga order of perennials
and since they have landed we have spent most of our free time mixing
soil and making beds to give our new plants a home. We bit of more than
we could chew time wise and are only now @ June 7th ready to think
about planting our ten different varieties of lilies.(Day,Asiatics and
oriental) They are still in there little bags of sawdust. Some are
putting out shoots and some are dormant. Even though I am very late with
my planting I would love to know if they have any chance of living and
how the late planting is going to effect them.

Thank you very much

David & Itala from NB CANADA
