Kemberly,
I've had TOO much success with the pink coreopsis. I can't seem to get rid
of it. I've pulled it all up, perhaps forgot a couple of blades of
foliage, and it has run rampant. I thought that it needed moisture, but it
seems to like my dry clay soil. I have it in full sun, part sun, and
running amok through the hostas. Another warning: the white coreopsis is
nearly as bad. I thought it would be fresh to have the white version as an
edging, but it's turned into a weedy mess. I pulled out what I could, but
it has come back.
The 'Moonbeam' has behaved itself, only spreading moderately. Which is the
red like? Do you know of a mail-order source? I'm gullible enough to try
it with my hot-colored border. Is it like the chocolate cosmos in color or
more pinkish?
