Val-
The one I had was a deep red....burgandy-ish...not a crisp red like the
Salvia "Lady in Red" and it had small flowers like the pink I had. Both the
red and pink did not like my garden very much----they gave me a nice Spring
show and I've never seen them since....no self sowing and the plant just died
in the summer. I don't think I should have planted them in full sun here.
I've only seen these two coreopsis twice at Garden Centers and both times I
bought them.....if I ever see them again I will buy them again and try them
in morning sun only. I will try to find my record of the red coreopsis to
get you the exact name.....mahogony is ringing a bell but I'll check to make
sure.
