Hello All-
A couple of weeks ago there was a discussion on the planting of Japanese
Maples. Well I've just planted my first of this lovely tree. I would like
to know if anyone has any pointers on the pruning of these wonderful trees.
I once saw on the Gardener's Diary (Erica Glausner) interviewing someone who
had a wonderful collection of these....they recommended pruning on the inside
for airflow...Is this correct? To me the pruning looked somewhat like you
would a bonsai....is this correct?
My little tree is not big enough to prune but if I don't ask now while I'm
thinking about it I will forget....any help with this will be much
appreciated.
Happy Gardening
