Dear Friends:
I've only been on the 'list' for a scant week, but have become a devoted
fan all ready! To those of you who wrote to me in response to my dear
niece, Dee Ann's request, last week after the death of my beloved
Pekingese, Misty -- thank you so very much, you'll never know how much
your kind words and sympathy helped me get through this very sad time in
my life.
We adopted Misty from the Humane Society as a companion for our aging
white pekingese and sort of buffer against our impending loss of our
precious 'Sutoo' -- she fit in perfectly and was a joy for 14 years!!
Although my gardening days are not as active as in years past, the
interest has never waned -- my motto was "If it has a seed, plant it"!!
How lucky you all are to have access to this 'list' -- how many pitfalls
and disappointments I could have avoided, had it been available way back
'when'!! Thanks again for your kindness --
