Re: tree peony - not necessarily expensive


Here in Milwaukee, we can find tree peonies at places like Home Depot for
less than $10.  Of, course, they're small and rather generic (red, purple,
white - no fancy cultivars).  My purple one was such a plant and is
gorgeous in spring.  Of, course, I've also paid mucho $$$ for a couple,
too, including a striking bicolor named 'Shimanishiki'  You can see a photo
