What's in bloom now

My lilacs are just finishing - it will seem like such a long time between
now and next year...

The peonies are in full bloom - beautiful for my office and my secretary's
desk.
Roses are starting.
Stock - what a scent!
Johnny Jump Ups, and all other violas
Himalayan Blue Poppy - magnificent!
Clematis - some finishing and some starting...Marie Boisselot has white
flowers 8 - 10" across; Duchess of Edinburgh is a showstopper with
multipetaled white blooms, with green undertones; the President is 8"
across this year; Montana Rubens is done; Ville de Lyon is still putting
on a show of wine coloured blooms. Tried to press one of each in my flower
press
	this year.
Rununculas keep blooming.
Daylillies have started.
Nepeta is finishing it's first bloom - ready to cut back for its second.
Delphiniums - the single flower type are in bloom; doubles are in bud.
Lavender - stalks of flower buds cover all my plants - will be a great
harvest this year.
Bugleweed is finishing.
Iris - all at different stages of flowering
Oriental Poppies
Rhododendrons - just finishing
Hydrangea - climbing type almost in bloom; all others forming flower heads
Sage Meadow May Night
Achillea Moonshine (Yarrow)

And the summer has just begun. The wild rabbits have eaten my 4th planting
of peas, beans and lettuce, so I give up. Turned over the dirt tonight and
planted flowers. Alittle tired of keeping the rabbit population well fed.
Oh! We've had ducks frequent our pond, and last night noticed that mama
duck has 10 baby ducklings - they are SOOO cute. Sure hope they stay.
