ugly salvia

I grew a variety of salvia from seed last year, and it wasn't until this
year that they have blossomed;
one sort has yet to blossom, but there are lots of buds on this otherwise
very ugly "candelabra" shape, with light green furry leaves;
I definitely will move them for next season because they just look awful
where they are;
any suggestions on how to best use them?
It may be that when they blossom I'll feel better about them.
