Sunburn is a real possibility. Fortunately, I have a screened porch for my
plants to acclimatize them. Another possibility is to move them out when a
few overcast days are forcast, then avoid the strong afternoon sun if
possible. I suppose you could also cover them with a layer of cheesecloth.
