Even though they're not considered perennials, Dahlias and Allium???
Because they come from bulbs, I suppose.
My allium (first experience) is beautiful probably 8-10 inches in diameter,
and looking likes it approaching the end. Can these be made to re-bloom or
is that it? Do I let it die back, leaving the leaves so the bulb can store
food? And should I dig it out in the fall to protect it from winter?
Dahlias - also discovered their beauty. Have a yellow one as big as my
face. You can't walk by without stopping to admire it. Now I want more. Is
it too late to plant bulbs now?
Thank you,
