Re: delphiniums/ Conn. Yankees

Janice

I am so glad you responded to my post about the Delphinium and
Larkspurs. I just learned something that I didn't know, and something
that will be very helpful to me.
Do you plant the Delphinium seed the same way you do the Larkspurs? Do
they have to have the cold? . are they planted in the fall? Do they
grow in full sun, shade, part sun or shade? Do they reseed or does the
plant itself come back?

you have no idea how I've tried to grow Larkspurs. I'll bet I've
planted a bucket ful of seed over the years and finally this year I did
get maybe a dozen or more plants to come up and bloom for me.

Thanks Donna in NE Mississippi zone 7
