Donna --
Delphiniums and Larkspurs are the same plants. Delphinium is the botanical
(Latin) name and larkspur is the common name for them.
In practice most people commonly call the perennial cultivated varieties by
their botanical name, delphinium, and call the wild and annual species
larkspur.
