Barb is right. These are nice plants. I grow them just for cutting, and they
continue to produce flowers all summer. There are white ones with pink or
purple picotees as well as solid color white, yellow, purple, pink, salmon,
and red. They also come as single or double flowers. The most common singles
around here are the Mermaid and the Heidi series. The Mermaids are short but
the Heidis and others that are 18-24 inches make the best cut flowers and
can last 2 weeks in a vase. They may need to be staked, but otherwise have
no special needs.
