Janice -
Been there done that----two summers in a row we have had severe droughts down
here in Texas........I won't be complaining about the rain this year. My
husband is a sort of Almanac (sp) person and can quote you all these sayings
from the old times, such as, winters not over until the pecan tree buds or if
it's a wet Spring you are going to have a dry summer (and vice versa).....I
always just knodded my head and smiled and said 'Okay honey, what ever you
think'....do you know-----these are true!!!!!! We had a very wet Spring in
'98 and no, I mean no rain during the Summer....this year - we never saw rain
during the Spring---now, it is here daily.
BTW - Has everyone welcomed Summer in, wasn't it here (officially) yesterday?
I will wish you some rain---but no complaints when it won't stop.
Happy Gardening
