I am no expert but I believe that Cosmos are annuals.....usually self sowing
readily. I do not know if the chocolate will self sow true....but it is
worth a shot considering they bloom so quickly after germinating.
I'm not sure if you can root cuttings of this plant.......I'd be interested
to here too.
