Just wanted to let everyone know that I ordered the shade collection of "free
perennials" from Etera....they were 2 Heuchera 'Vivid' and 2 Astillbe
'Pumila'....these are the ones that are shipped in the coconut type pot that
is biodegradable. These plants are beautiful, very healthy and very large
(equal to {if not bigger} than a six inch round pot).....even metal tags!!!
The astillbe's must have 12 strong stems coming from the soil and it seems
that it will bloom soon....I have had them for 1 week and haven't been able
to plant them due to the rain and they still look fantastic, well worth the
$1.50/plant for shipping.
After placing my order, I received an email from Etera confirming my order
within the hour. Then I received an email telling me when they were shipped
and how (ie. UPS) and the expected date of arrival......I really liked this
because I knew to be home to get the plants out of the boxes as quickly as
possible. I even emailed their customer service address with a question to
see what the response time was......I had a friendly, helpful answer within
24 hours.
So, in short, I would rate my first experience with Etera with an A+ with
extra credit.

P.S. I just received another email from Etera this morning advertising an
extension of the free perennials program and now you can order more than one
collection if you are sending to another address (ie. family and friends)
!!! :o)
