I don't much care for the flowers on this Heuchera either, but boy, the
ruby-throated hummingbirds LOVE them! I have two Palace Purples in full
sun and they are doing fine in our atrocious clay soil. Even though
they are in bad clay, they are on the edge of my garden, which is
bordered with a trench - so perhaps this accounts for good drainage??? I
had a *Ruby Veil* from Terra Nova, but it didn't survive the winter -
now THAT'S a plant I'd look for again!
I became interested in Heucheras last year after much discussion on this
list about the lovely varieties. I thank you all for those suggestions.
