Re: Hollyhocks


Hi Louise, I'm originally from Bolton but now in Philadelphia...

Anyway your hollyhocks and mine are suffering the exact same ailments...
slugs and rust... I pulled mine all out because the rust looked really
gross, but hollyhocks have popped up elsewhere, healthy green leaves, and
pink flowers, as for the slugs they are still disgusting and I pour salt on
them, I want to see them suffer and maybe they won't come back.  I know
gardeners are supposed to be nice people, but slugs bring out my cruelty.
