This must be why horse manure from stables decomposes so quickly compared to
other sources. Lots of uric acid in there. My husband already thinks I go to 
some pretty bizarre efforts in my quest for a perfect garden, but if I asked 
him to "contribute" to the compost pile, he'd be convinced that  I'd gone 
over the edge. Tempting tho.
